Website Work
I am sitting at my kitchen table working on my website. My son is in the other room sleeping. I hear him coughing and I am reminded of the frustration I feel at his constant cough. Allergies? Mold spores in the air? Drainage? It could be several different things. Trusting God when we don't know what is going on is often hard to do. We experience frustration when he doesn't move fast enough or give us enough information. The comfort is in knowing that HE is in control. No matter what happens, God will take care of me. There are times when I see human suffering and I ask God, "Why?" He usually responds, "Trust me and I will take care of this situation." Millions cannot buy this kind of peace that I feel. I am in safe hands.

Good times today!
Just thinking about my life and what my family means to me. I have such a great wife and a good-looking boy. My family is my support and my inspiration. The other day I was getting a bit stressed and my wife and I decided to go to the park and put Landen on the swing. As we were pushing him back and forth he began to laugh and scream like only he can do. We were having so much fun just watching him and being the monster that grabbed his feet. I realized at that moment that this is what life is really about. If I had all the riches in the world and didn't have my family I would be pretty miserable. It gave me a fresh appreciation for the loved ones in my life. Thank God for a great family! - JT

Summer Days
It is a hot day here in Poplar Bluff, MO. I am here at the church where my office is located and I am thinking about my first Father's Day. It was a great day! Our church had a quartet that sang the song, "A Few Good Men" which has been recorded by the gaithers and others. I love singing bass. Good times. Our pastor's brother was in town from California and preached two great messages on Sunday. The greatest blessing I have is my wife and son who make up the biggest part of my life. They mean so much to me and I don't let them know often enough. Landen is trying to stand at seven months and is cutting his sixth tooth. What a guy! A bit cranky these days but I think I would be too if I had new teeth coming in. Well, good times. - JT

Thoughts
Just sitting here thinking about the great things that are happening in my life. My boy has just cut his first tooth a week ago. He is sitting up for short periods of time and smiling like crazy. What a guy! My wife is beautiful and I am blessed to have her by my side. She is a great help in ministry and is my support and confidant. Lately, I have been discovering the power of synergy and how it can impact a project and make it ten times better. God has certainly been good to me. Right now my sister-in-law is here visiting with us and my mother-in-law is coming in this weekend with a couple of the grandkids. Life has been flying by and it is hard to believe it is tax season! Anyway, Good times! - Jacob

Smiley Boy

We have a smiling boy on our hands! Landen is doing pretty good these days. He is so active and strong. He is finding his hands and doing things that are above average for his age. He is bigger than average for his age and he is already starting to crawl. Just kidding! He has a bit of a cold lately. The family is coming in a couple of weeks for Landen's Dedication. - JT
